Simple choices made each day can have an impact on the environment. Sperry Credit Union encourages our members to Go Green by giving them the products and services they need to take the steps towards Greener Banking.

Everyday Tips for Going Green:

Set your printer up to go duplex! Configure your home or office printer to print on both sides of the page, saving paper and money.
Purchase a re-usable, recyclable shopping bag and use it when shopping. This will help keep plastic bags out of landfills.
Shop at farmers markets. Support local agriculture and reduce the impact of product transportation and save gas.
Use rechargeable batteries. You will help avoid pollution from the chemical substances used inside disposable batteries.
Nontoxic cleaning. Clean your home with nontoxic household ingredients, such as lemon, vinegar and baking soda.
Freshen the air. Instead of using commercial air fresheners, ventilate your home by opening windows or doors, or boil cinnamon and cloves for a pleasant, more natural aroma.
Pet-Friendly Toys. Try a wool ball, fleece mouse, hemp flying disc or rope tug to delight your furry friend.
